The Theresa Snaith Hospital Auxiliary of Vandalia Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital is hosting its third annual Volunteer Luncheon at noon, Thursday, April 24, at Saint Paul’s West Hall on East First Street. The event coincides with National Volunteer Week, April 20-26, a time to recognize and celebrate the impact of volunteers in communities. The theme for this year’s luncheon is “Volunteers Make Waves.”
New this year, the Auxiliary will be honoring a Lewis County Volunteer of the Year. National Volunteer Week, established in 1974, is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle societal challenges, build stronger communities, and make a difference.
