Weston, W.Va. – Spring outdoor recreation season is kicking off at Stonewall Resort with the opening of the Palmer Golf Course on Friday, March 22 and the Marina on Monday, April 1.

“With the opening of the golf course and marina, day- and overnight guests have access to the full spectrum of outdoor activities we offer at Stonewall Resort,” said Andre’ D’Amour, resort general manager. “Given our recent ranking by U.S. News & World Report as having one of the top resorts in the state and earning an accolade from WV Living as having the state’s second-best golf course, we’re excited for guests to visit.”

D’Amour said the golf course has undergone significant renovations to its bunker system, specifically on Holes 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18. Additionally, the Pro Shop will offer a large variety of new merchandise to start the season. In 2023, the course added 65 new Club Car Golf Carts to its existing fleet, most of which feature onboard GPS units. Additionally, nearly a mile of cart paths were repaved.
