Micrologic installs automatic locks at Valley Health Care

Micrologic is helping Valley Health Care Inc. stay secure with a new door access system that requires a card swipe or passcode to authorize entry.

Micrologic, the one-stop internet, phone, and security service provider in North-Central West Virginia, recently completed a project at all Valley Health Care, Inc. locations in Randolph County. The project that is now finished will enhance security for employees and patients.

The Micrologic team installed automatic locks on all exterior doors. The exterior doors (except for the main entrances) will now require a card swipe or passcode to authorize entry.

Candice Judy, Director of Pharmacy Services for Valley Health, said the main reason for this project was to enhance security for patients and employees with a functional and working security system.

“Our main goals when working with Micrologic was to increase the safety of employees and enhance customer service and response time, all while using a cost-saving system,” Judy says.

She also said the new system makes it easier to manage patients from restricted areas—which increases both staff and patient safety—and the system’s app has been easy-to-use and helpful for employees who are on call.

“I would definitely recommend Micrologic to both businesses and residential homeowners,” said Judy, who also has Micrologic security installed at her home.

Looking into the future, Judy hopes to have Micrologic back to install video surveillance in all facilities and have the same system installed at the Valley Health Care’s Mill Creek location.
