Lady Bobcat 2022 soccer schedule announced

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan women’s soccer team and head coach Richard Owens released their 2022 schedule on Friday.
 
The regular season begins on August 25 when the Lady ‘Cats welcome Slippery Rock to Culpepper Stadium for a nonconference bout. The nonconference slate concludes on August 28 when Wesleyan travels to North Canton, Ohio for a match versus Walsh.
 
The Lady Bobcats’ Mountain East Conference competition starts on September 7 on the road at Glenville State. Wesleyan’s MEC home opener will be versus Concord on Sept. 14.
 
WVWC has a three consecutive home matches in mid-October. The Lady ‘Cats play Glenville State on Oct. 12 before hosting Charleston on Oct. 16 and West Virginia State on Oct. 19. The final home match of the season is scheduled for Oct. 26 versus Wheeling. The regular season wraps up on October 30 at Davis & Elkins.
