Hank Ellis Insurance takes over the lead in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings

TENNERTON – Week two of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League is in the books, and Hank Ellis Insurance had a big week.

They defeated Feola’s Flowers by a 24-16 score to jump into first place, 2 ½ points ahead of Custom Cabinets, who also had an impressive week, knocking off last week’s leader Sam’s Pizza by a 23-13 score.

High Point Construction defeated Highland Landscaping by a 19-17 margin to move into a second-place tie along with Custom Cabinets.

Hank Ellis Insurance had 42 ½ points while Custom Cabinets and High Point Construction are both at 40 ½ points.

In the other match of the week, First Community Bank downed Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 23 ½-16 ½ margin.

John Moss of Custom Cabinets won Low Actual honors with a 38, while James Dean of Hank Ellis Insurance and Paul Dibiccari of Custom Cabinets shared Low Net honors with 34s.
