Furr named new Sports Information Director at Wesleyan

BUCKHANNON – West Virginia Wesleyan’s Athletic Department is excited to announce Jagger Furr as the new Sports Information Director. 

Furr comes to WVWC after serving as a Sports Information Assistant at Glenville State for 2 ½ years. He helped provide live stats for all sports, as well as assisting in running the GSU Athletics website and social media pages. Furr has also worked the WVSSAC Super Six Football Championships and the NCAA Atlantic Regional Basketball Tournament hosted by GSU in 2022.  

“We’re really happy to have Jagger as the head of our Sports Information Department. He comes here highly recommended and has done a great job at Glenville State,” Athletic Director Randy Tenney said. “We’re excited for him to now be a leader in our Athletic Department.” 

Furr is from Glenville, W.Va. and is currently working on getting a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate’s degree in Marketing in December 2023.
