Pet Show

Calling all animal lovers! Get ready to wag your tails in excitement because the West Virginia Strawberry Festival is hosting its annual Strawberry Pet Show, and this year it promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Held at Jawbone Park, the event is open to pets of all kinds, from furry to feathery and everything in between.

Starting at 11 AM, the event will feature multiple categories for pets to enter, including 80’s Costume, Golden Girl or Guy for pets aged 7 or older, Most Unusual, Totally Tubular Tricks, Bodacious Betty (Queen), and Fantabulous Fella (King). Winners in each category will be awarded prizes and ribbons, while the King and Queen winners will receive a crown, sash, and the opportunity to participate in the Jr. Royalty parade. If you are looking for a fun way to spend a day with your pet, the Strawberry Pet Show is the perfect event to participate in.

A charge of $5 per category will be applied, with all proceeds donated to a local animal rescue. While pets compete, vendors will be set up outside of the park, offering a variety of items for both pets and their owners. Registration for pets starts at 11 AM, so make sure to arrive early to secure your pet’s spot in the competition.
