The WV Strawberry Festival’s annual Fireman’s Parade celebrates the bravery and dedication of firefighters from all over the state. The parade, which takes place on May 19th at 6:30 PM, is expected to be the largest Fireman’s Parade in West Virginia, featuring over 100 units, including fire trucks and emergency squads.
Visitors can marvel at the variety of fire trucks and equipment on display, showcasing the state’s rich firefighting heritage. The parade features bands, floats, dignitaries, and, of course, the fire trucks, which will start down Strawberry Lane at 7:00 PM.
The Buckhannon Fire Department is proud to serve as the official Host Department for the Fireman’s Parade, in conjunction with the WV Strawberry Festival.
