Debbie Lipscomb receives employee honor at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital

WESTON, W.Va. – Debbie Lipscomb, laboratory employees, has been selected as the Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital ICARE Employee of the Month for December 2022. She began her employment at the hospital in 2000.

Nominations for the monthly honor are based on the Mon Health System Values, ICARE, which stands for Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.

“Debbie always does the right thing when it comes to patient care in the lab. She is always pleasant to work with,” her nominator wrote. “She is fun to be around, always smiling with a positive attitude. She works independently and maintains a cool, calm frame of mind to complete her duties. She is very dependable and reliable and always does what she is asked.”

Debbie enjoys her work and coworkers at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital as well as working with the lab equipment. She mostly enjoys giving good, quality results to her patients.

Debbie is a Flemington resident and graduate of Fairmont State University with an associate degree in medical laboratory technology. Her and her husband, Roy, share two children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family.
