City of Buckhannon announces updated schedule for street paving projects

Buckhannon’s contractors will pave South Florida and West Lincoln (and possibly Ohio) on Aug. 15, then North Florida, Gate and any remaining Ohio work on Aug. 18, weather permitting.

The City of Buckhannon recently announced that its outside contractors had notified the city of their intent to begin the recently approved street paving projects. As with most projects, schedules change, so here are the latest updates:

Milling on South Florida Street and West Lincoln Street was completed on Thursday.

Paving will take place on South Florida Street, West Lincoln Street, and possibly Ohio Street on Friday, August 15.

On Monday, August 18, North Florida Street and Gate Street will be paved along with Ohio Street, should it still need to be completed.

All is subject to the weather conditions.
