Carolyn Lee Winemiller Gaston

Carolyn Lee Winemiller Gaston, 81, of Lenoir, N.C. and formerly of Buckhannon died on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at the Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson, N.C. 

She was born in Taylor County on February 9, 1939, a daughter of the late Francis and Myra Snyder Winemiller.  She was united in marriage on May 12, 1968, to Gilbert Gaston who survives in North Carolina.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter Jennifer Cole of Los Angeles, Calif. and one son John and wife Tammy Gaston of Lenoir, N.C.; five grandchildren: Amanda Gaston, John Gaston, Brittany Cole, Billy Cole and Nathan Gun; two great grandchildren:  Josh Church and Geneive Cole.

Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at the Barbour Memorial Cemetery.
