Career Training: Apply now for Fred Eberle Technical Center’s extensive cosmetology program

Adults looking to pursue a career in cosmetology should consider Fred W. Eberle Technical Center’s extensive, hands-on program.

Fred W. Eberle Technical cosmetology classes are perfect for people looking to begin or further their career. The program focuses on the business practices, knowledge, skills and proper attitudes needed to excel in the cosmetology field. After completing 300 hours of instruction, students receive hands-on experience in a salon setting.

The FETC Adult Cosmetology program is currently accepting applications for enrollment. Upon acceptance, new adult students can complete the program in as little as 18 months based on attendance. Tuition costs about $10,000 and financial aid is available to students who qualify.

The upcoming FETC Cosmetology program will begin in August 2020. Classes are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Upon completion, students are eligible for licensure by the State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists.

Adult students must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Entrance Exam
  • Drug Screening
  • Background Check
  • Interview
  • Personal References
