The 55th reunion attendees at The Links Restaurant.

At their 55th reunion, the Buckhannon-Upshur High School Class of 1969 voted to donate $1,000 to the Upshur County 4-H camp in Selbyville. Representatives of the class, Karen Wendling and Carol Baxa Meese, presented the check and certificate to Craig Presar and members of the camp’s Board of Directors.

The classmates appreciate the educational system and the Buckhannon-Upshur communities where they grew up during the 50s and 60s. At previous reunions, the Class of 1969 has also given back to the community. Some of their earlier gifts include donations to Stockert Youth Center, library books and new tile in the library.
