BUCKHANNON — Buckhannon Academy Elementary School presented three $500 scholarships to three graduating seniors during a recent staff breakfast.  Receiving the awards were NinaMae Coberly, Brianna Dalton and Anna Grace Lantz.  

NinaMae plans to attend Marshall University in the fall majoring in nursing and wants to be a nurse anesthetist. Brianna will be attending West Virginia Wesleyan College to major in nursing. Anna Grace will be attending Fairmont State University to major in elementary education.

This is the 21st year BAES has awarded scholarships. The scholarships are sponsored by the school’s PTO, Saint Gobain/Corhart Refractories, and Weyerhaeuser.
