A message of appreciation from the family of Lugene Kern Baston

Members of the Baston family wish to give our heartfelt thanks to relatives and friends for their love and support during the illness and our sadness due to the loss of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, warmly referred to as “Mamaw.” Special thanks to Pastor Ed McDaniels, his wife, Janet, and members of Christian Fellowship Church for their love and support. We greatly appreciated the comfort of the gospel music provided by Mike and Rhonda Haler, and Vickie Paugh.

We thank the family members and friends who served as pallbearers and are grateful to the members of the Christian Fellowship Church who prepared and served the bereavement dinner.

We also want to thank Gene Brake with the Rock Cave Cemetery Association for his help with the gravesite, and coordination of the opening and closing of the grave.

During this sad and difficult time, our deep gratitude to the Director, family, and staff of the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Home for their compassion and help to ensure all the details of transportation, funeral and burial for Lugene Kern Baston went smoothly. Thank you.

Words cannot express our appreciation for the cards, flowers, and words of condolences on the funeral home website. We are truly grateful. God richly bless all of you.

Sincerely, The Baston Family
