BUCKHANNON – West Virginia Wesleyan College has announced a leadership transition within its Athletics Division, effective Oct. 20, 2025.

Dr. Rae Emrick ’95, who has served as Vice President for Athletics since 2023, will assume a new role as Senior Advisor for Athletics, continuing to support key institutional projects and initiatives.

We are grateful for her continued support as we move through this transition. Kyle is exceptionally well-prepared to build on her legacy and lead Wesleyan Athletics into its next chapter.”

Hoffman added, “Dr. Emrick has been an integral part of Wesleyan Athletics for the last three decades. Her leadership came at a critical time for the department, helping us navigate some of the most challenging times in the history of the NCAA.
