All schools in Upshur County will close at 1 p.m. today. All B-UHS sporting events today are canceled.

WVSSAC and regional board to host high school officiating class

Individuals interested in officiating basketball with the WVSSAC and the Mon Valley Board must complete a RefReps Officiating Education course at https://www.wvssac.org/officials/ and follow the instructions on the website.

In addition to completing this online course, new officials must complete classroom and court work training with the Mon Valley Board. Officials must submit their certificate of completion from the online course and complete the Board training to become a certified basketball official.  Classes are starting soon for individuals to officiate off-season tournaments and fall leagues.
