Volleyball Lady Bucs pick up three more wins

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Lady Bucs continue to play solid volleyball as they hosted a tri-match with Philip Barbour and Preston and visited East Fairmont for a quad with the Bees, Frankfort and University.

The Lady Bucs went 1-1 in their home tri-meet.

They fell to the talented Colts in straight sets by 25-14 and 25-13 scores but came back to sweep Preston in straight sets by 25-16 and 25-10 scores.

They followed that up going 2-1 at the East Fairmont quad.

They dropped straight sets to University (25-15 and 25-19) but beat Frankfort in three sets (25-20, 20-25, 25-23) and downed East Fairmont in straight sets (27-25, 25-22).

The action left head coach Ashley Stanton’s team with a 13-10 record overall and a 7-4 mark in the Big 10 Conference.
