BUCKHANNON, WV – WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur will hold a blood drive on Friday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This will be held in the Social Hall in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 35 Franklin Street, Buckhannon WV, 26201. The blood will be drawn by Vitalant, the blood supplier for St. Joseph’s Hospital and United Hospital Center.

Every two seconds, someone in the US needs blood. Blood donations assist patients diagnosed with cancer, accident and burn victims, and heart surgery and organ transplant patients. If you are willing to donate, an appointment is recommended.
