Upshur County Public Library will host a Mario Kart tournament on December 4 from 5 to 6 p.m., according to a Facebook post by the library.
Competitors will race on the library’s new large screen TV. Small prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place finishers.
The event is recommended for ages 7 and up. Depending on the number of attendees, an older and younger bracket may be established.
Participants should bring their own controllers if they prefer.
Playtime toys will be available for younger children’s entertainment.
