Council approves acquisition of old bank drive-thru lot
City engineer Jay Hollen outlines a plan for the 1.03-acre lot on Madison Street, where the old Chase Bank drive-thru was once located. The city approved a purchase agreement in which it will pay $200,000 in exchange for Citizens Bank, which currently owns the lot, donating $100,000 to the SYCC capital campaign for a new multi-purpose facility.
