Sam’s Pizza takes early lead in second quarter of Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – Sam’s Pizza, which won the first-quarter title last week, is off to a strong start in the first week of the second quarter landing in the top spot of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League standings.

Sam’s Pizza knocked off Lisa Cain Edward Jones by a 24 ½-15 ½ score to land in first place.

Hank Ellis Insurance resides in second place after a 24-16 victory over Highland Landscaping.

Custom Cabinets landed in third place after a 21 ½-18 ½ win over First Community Bank while Feola’s Flowers is in fourth place after a 21-19 victory over High Point Construction.

Stephen Jeran of High Point Construction won Low Actual honors with a 35 while Jeran, Kenny Tenney of Sam’s Pizza and Jerry Cochran of Custom Cabinets all shared Low Net honors with 32s.
