Robert Harold Sprouse, Jr., age 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Bridgeport, OH.
He was born August 15, 1954, in St. Mary’s, WV, a son of the late Robert Harold Sprouse, Sr., and Augustine June Queen Sprouse.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Steven Matthew Sprouse, and one sister, Pamela Hyre.
He is survived by four daughters, Heather Bender and husband Jerry of Ellamore, WV, Holly White and husband Justin of Ripley, WV, Crystal Williams and husband Eric of Crawford, WV, and Heidi Howell and husband Brooks of Coalton, WV; two sons, Robert Shane Sprouse and wife Amanda and Robert Edward Sprouse and wife Kayla, all of Buckhannon; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Cheryl Griffin and companion John Kevin Cobb of Buckhannon; and one brother, Timothy Allan Sprouse of Buckhannon.
Mr. Sprouse worked as a heavy equipment operator for Waste Management.
In honoring Robert’s wishes, he will be cremated.
