Region VII Planning & Development Council to host lunch fundraiser for pancreatic cancer patient

BUCKHANNON — On Nov. 15, 2024, Region VII Planning and Development Council is hosting a lunch to raise funds for Jim Marshall, an employee of Region VII PDC battling pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is a particularly aggressive and difficult-to-treat form of cancer. The proceeds from this event will directly support Jim and his family with their increased medical expenses as they face the challenges associated with this disease.

The event will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 88 S. Kanawha Street, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Lunch will include a meatball hoagie, chips, and water.

Tickets are available for purchase by calling 304-472-6564 or texting 304-642-4521. Lunches are $12 each, and pre-sale orders are due no later than 4 pm on 11/8.  We will serve walk-ins but cannot guarantee availability, so pre-sale tickets are preferred.  Delivery is available within Buckhannon if four or more hoagies are ordered.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to Jim.

We thank you for your support and consideration. Hope to see you on November 15th.
