BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — Beginning Tuesday, March 16, the Buckhannon Sewer Department will be closing a portion of North Spring Street as they continue replacing lines. The closure will begin at the Whistle Stop Café, located at 23 North Spring Street, and go north to the railroad tracks toward Willard Way.
In announcing the closure, Buckhannon Sewer Department Supervisor Bryan “Buck” Samples thanked city residents for their patience and understanding.
“I am really impressed by how respectful and careful the people have been when driving on North Spring Street since we started our work” Samples stated. “It seems like everyone is keeping the safety of our crew in mind.”
The city will continue to issue updates as this project continues.
