Number One Auto Sales invited back to national stage after hosting convention’s most popular session

Number One Auto Sales General Manager Shea Phillips has been invited to return as a featured speaker at the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association National Convention this June in Denver, according to a press release from Number One Auto Sales.

Phillips will once again join fellow industry leaders Kelly Midgett of Kelly’s Automotive and Craig Stowell of Flyin’ Wheels Inc. for a dealer panel session titled “Making Social Media and Video Work at Your Dealership.”

The trio originally led the session at last year’s convention in Las Vegas, where it quickly became the most attended and highest-rated session of the entire event. Due to overwhelming demand and positive feedback from dealers across the country, NIADA has invited the panel back for a repeat performance in 2026.

“This is a huge honor for us,” Phillips said. “We’re just a small-town dealership in West Virginia, but we’ve always believed that if you stay creative, stay consistent, and stay authentic, you can compete with anyone. Being asked to come back and share that message again means a lot.”

The session will focus on helping independent dealers harness the power of organic social media and video marketing to grow their businesses, connect with customers and stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Attendees can expect practical strategies, real-world examples and a behind-the-scenes look at how dealerships can create engaging content without massive budgets.

Phillips has become known in the industry for his dealership’s unique, outside-the-box marketing approach — blending humor, storytelling and community-focused messaging to build a strong online presence and loyal customer base.

The NIADA Convention and Expo brings together thousands of independent automobile dealers from across the country each year for education, networking and industry insights.

“This opportunity isn’t just about us,” Phillips added. “It’s about representing our community, our customers, and showing what’s possible for small dealerships willing to think differently.”
