Norma began her career at TS&T Pottery but spent several years as a cook at Chester Junior High School where she eventually retired. She was a member of First Christian Church in Chester, WV and was a Deaconess for over seventeen years. Norma was also a member of quilt and card clubs over the years. Her faith was strong and she dedicated her time by volunteering at local facilities including Fox’s Nursing Home in Chester and F.I.S.H. Food Pantry. In her spare time, Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, taking walks, crosswords, her cat, and swinging on her front porch. She was the most caring and giving person and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Christian Church of Chester (330 Indiana Ave Chester, WV 26204) or the Hancock County Animal Shelter (PO Box 485 New Cumberland, WV 26047).
