KBAM Builders win two games in CEC Summer Basketball League action

TENNERTON – KBAM Builders picked up two wins in their first action in the CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League last Wednesday.

KBAM Builders started the day with a 95-41 win over Sweet-A-Licious and then downed High Point Construction by a 74-56 score in their second game.

In their opener, Nate Smarr led the team with 22 points while Xavier Robinette paced Sweet-A-Licious with 11 points.

In their second outing, Mitchell Shaw and Logan Bailey each had 13 points to lead KBAM Builders while Tyler Corder led High Point Construction with 518 points.

In the other game of the night, High Point Construction defeated Sweet-A-Licious by a 75-62 count with Corder scoring a game-high 35 points for High Point Construction while Jacob Frye led Sweet-A-Licious with 18 points.

The league was to have wrapped up last week with a trio of games on Thursday and Friday.

The league will be back in action on Tuesday with three games.
