Kathy Louise Criss, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, June 27, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

She was born December 23, 1956, in Dearborn, MI, a daughter of the late Kenneth Emory and Geraldine Betty Crites Moore. On October 18, 1974, she married Ralph William Criss who preceded her in death on October 16, 2005.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Richard Moore and one sister, Anna Lee Moore.

She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Criss and wife April of Tampa, FL, Philip Criss and wife Amanda of Newnan, GA and Dustin Criss of Buckhannon; twelve grandchildren, Miya, Alicia, Damion, Molly, William, Braelyn, Hunter, Hayden, Caleb, Khloe, Anthony and Joseph; two great-grandchildren, Kelsie and Natalie; one sister, Elizabeth Moore of Buckhannon; two brother, Frankie and Anthony Moore both of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Doris Sandreth of Buckhannon, Kelly Krueger of Pittsburgh, PA and her Walmart Family.

Mrs. Criss worked at Walmart as a Fitting Room Associate and a caregiver for the elderly. She loved Motown music, talking on the phone and cooking. She enjoyed watching movies, especially all the Fast and the Furious Movies.

Friends will be received for a memorial gathering Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Miller officiating.
