It’s not too late: Become a Falcon today

Fairmont State University will be hosting “Admit on the Spot” registration days throughout the month of July in order to allow students to complete the entire enrollment process from application through class scheduling all in one day.

“We are excited to offer an easy and convenient way for students to join the Falcon Family this summer,” Brittany Stout, director of recruitment said. “The Student Services staff is anxiously awaiting official documents from those needing to complete their Student Admissions file and faculty are available to provide one-on-one advising.”

During these days, students can apply, receive an admission decision on the spot, and if accepted, schedule classes on the same day.

“Recruitment staff will verify the students’ acceptance and help them activate their myFairmontState account,” Stout said. “Then students will be escorted to their designated major areas to meet with an advisor. The Financial Aid and Housing offices will be ready to serve these visitors as well. We are excited to meet everyone needing to take advantage of these days.”

Students should bring the following items with them: official high school transcripts, official college transcripts (if transferring), and a government ID. All official transcripts must be in their original envelope from the supplier, signed by the institution, sealed, stamped with an official seal, and have never been opened.

Dates are as follows:
