High school students invited to apply online now for 2021 Teen Entrepreneurship Summit

PARSONS — The Horseshoe Leadership Center and Ohio-West Virginia Youth Leadership Association on Monday announced that high school students may now apply for the 2021 Teen Entrepreneurship Summit.

The Youth Leadership Association Entrepreneurship Summit is open to high school students of all ages. Student participants will spend a week at the Horseshoe Leadership Center developing their entrepreneurship, leadership, and communication skills. The summit prepares teens to fulfill their potential as our West Virginia’s Next Generation of Entrepreneurs!

This is a great opportunity for summer enrichment and social-emotional engagement in a beautiful outdoor setting.

This year’s Entrepreneurship Summit at the Horseshoe Leadership Center is June 13-19, 2021. We are carefully following state and local guidelines for Covid-19 safety to ensure that camp is a safe and rewarding experience for all.

Campers report what makes Entrepreneurship summit stand out.

One said, “I love the fact that I made new friends and went on a field trip, which was one of my favorite things about this camp. We got to talk to small business owners and how they got involved or started their business.”

Another attendee said, “I have had an awesome time here. We did a lot of team building activities, a business start-up simulation to know what to expect when starting a business from scratch, and learned straight from the owners how local small businesses keep their doors open.”
