The West Virginia Muzzleloaders Association invites kids of all ages, and adults who want to give it a try, to shoot a muzzleloader at a Youth Day on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jackson’s Mill shooting range near Weston.
Both percussion and flintlock rifles will be on hand. Safety equipment and snacks are provided, and the event is free. Organizers describe it as a hands-on, educational way to pass on the tradition of shooting sports and heritage.
The day is sponsored by 304 Electric. For more information, contact Shannon Lewis.
