West Virginia Wesleyan College runs an eight-week fall swim technique camp for middle school and high school competitive swimmers, September 8 through October 29.
Sessions meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and cover strokes, starts, turns, underwaters and racing skills. This is a technique camp, not a learn-to-swim program.
Coach Colburn leads the sessions with members of the Wesleyan swim team.
One day a week is $175, two days a week is $300 and drop-ins are $25 a session as space permits. Swimmers registered for the full eight weeks also get a Wesleyan swim cap. Registration is open through the camp’s online form.
