West Virginia Wesleyan College softball invites prospective players and their families to its 2026 ID Camp on campus. The cost is $50 per player, payable by check to WVWC Softball — mailed in or paid the day of camp.
The day starts with 9 a.m. check-in in the Social Hall on the third floor of the Benedum Campus Center, between Rockefeller Center and French A See Dining Hall, where families pick up an information packet over a continental breakfast. Introductions and a question-and-answer session follow at 9:15 a.m., an admissions presentation with John Waltz, vice president for enrollment management, at 10 a.m. in Hyma Auditorium in Christopher Hall of Science, a campus tour led by current players at 11 a.m. and lunch with the players in the dining hall at 11:45 a.m.
On-field work begins at 1 p.m. at Culpepper Field and covers hitting, pitching, defense and baserunning. Camp ends at 4 p.m.
Registration and the signed waiver are due by September 29. Anyone interested in Wesleyan who cannot attend October 3 can arrange another visit date through the admissions office at 1-800-722-9933.
