Beander’s Restaurant and Tavern takes part in The Art of Elkins First Friday, with West Virginia pottery for sale upstairs from Desire Watson and friends, Macie Higgins and Jessica Kelly of Admire Creations in French Creek. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The kitchen is running a special menu for the night: hot crab dip with homemade pita chips for $14.50, a crab cake dinner with two crab cakes, baked potato, mixed vegetables and garlic bread for $21.50, and a Captain Morgan spiced cheesecake dessert made by Michelle Ludwig for $7.50.
