West Virginia State Parks invites the public to an open house celebrating the opening of Slabtown Campground at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park. Visitors can tour the new campground, and refreshments will be provided. The camp store will have special offers with purchases.
The campground sits near the Greenbrier River and the Greenbrier River Trail and has 100 campsites, a camp store, bathhouses and a laundry facility, plus select equestrian sites with corrals. It offers full-hookup sites as well as electric-and-water sites. The campground is open year-round; hookups are available April through October, weather permitting, with primitive and fully contained camping November through March.
