American Legion Post 7 will host a POW/MIA Recognition Day and Buckhannon Patriot Week fundraiser Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the post home, 16 S. Kanawha St.
The $5 meal includes ham and beans, cornbread, dessert and a drink. Eat in or carry out. Call 304-460-7377 for advance tickets.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing; participants do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds will fund veteran-related services and events in Upshur County, with a focus on local veterans and their families.
