Harrison County Parks and Recreation turns its recreational grounds into a fantasy fair for one day on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The flyer lays the grounds out as four kingdoms. The Faerie Realm carries performers, artists, activities and vendors. Ye Olde Kingdom brings knights, merrymakers and merchants. Autumn Hollow has animals to cuddle, games, crafts and demonstrations. Storybook Grove holds gifts and treasures to find.
Organizers say live musicians play all day and entertainers wander the grounds throughout — mermaids, fairies, fire artists, knights and ladies. Also on site: food vendors, giveaways, arts and crafts, a sensory hut, a trinket trading post, bounce houses, a petting zoo and a touch-a-truck.
The recreational grounds are at 43 Recreation Dr., Clarksburg, on Route 19 South across from Sunny Croft Golf Course. For more information, call 304-423-7800.
