Leadership Upshur Class 2022-23 is organizing the fifth annual Career Day at Buckhannon-Upshur High School on Thursday, Oct. 1, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Career Day gives students a chance to talk with local professionals and ask questions about businesses, careers and areas of interest as they plan their futures. More than 30 local vendors are expected, and organizers say part-time employment opportunities are especially welcome, since many students want to learn about local jobs open to them.
