Bridge Day, West Virginia’s largest single-day festival, returns to the New River Gorge on Saturday, October 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
BASE jumpers leap from the New River Gorge Bridge while rappellers climb the 876-foot height of the structure. Onlookers can take in food and vendors, and it is the one day a year pedestrians are allowed to walk across the top of the bridge.
