Carnival

No festival is complete without a carnival, and the World Association of Marching Show Bands World Championship is no exception. This year, visitors can look forward to the Gambill Amusement Carnival, a family-oriented carnival that has been traveling through West Virginia, Western Maryland, and Southwestern Pennsylvania for over thirty years.

The Gambill Amusement Carnival offers a complete carnival experience, including thrilling rides like the Ferris wheel, fun games, shows, and delicious food. Among the classic treats available are cotton candy, corn dogs, chili cheese fries, and chocolate-covered strawberries. Visitors can stroll through downtown Buckhannon while indulging in these delightful treats and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

The carnival is owned and operated by the third and fourth generations of the founding Gambill family. They are proud to have played a part in many locations over the years and continue to provide family-oriented entertainment to communities throughout the region. Visitors can expect a safe and enjoyable experience at the Gambill Amusement Carnival, making it a must-see attraction at WAMSB.
