DNR announces corrections to 2019 fishing regulations

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The 2019 West Virginia Fishing Regulations Summary contains two errors of which anglers and other parties should note.

On page 12, the code for Buffalo Fork (Pocahontas) should read BW-F, instead of W-F.

On page 13, Mill Creek (Hampshire) was not included in the regulations. Its code is BW.

The code BW means a stream or lake is stocked twice a month in February through April and once in May. Code F means a stream or lake is stocked once in each of the two weeks after the week that includes Columbus Day in October. These changes have been made to the electronic version of the regulations on the agency website www.wvdnr.gov.

For more information, contact any DNR District Office, the Elkins Operation Center or the main office in South Charleston.
