Diana Lynn Tenney, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, January 12, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon.
She was born December 3, 1951, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Ronald Dayton and Naomi Peg Woofter DeBarr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Gohen C. Tenney and a brother-in-law, Sturl Robert Waybright, Jr.
She is survived by one son, Douglas Tenney and wife Kim of Ellmore, WV; one granddaughter, Julia Lawrence and husband Matt of Ellamore; great grand fur babies; one sister, Carol Waybright of Buckhannon; niece, Stacy Marteney and husband John of Buckhannon; three great-nieces; one step granddaughter, Betty Heater of Rock Cave, WV and one step great-grandchild, Keagan Heater of Rock Cave.
Mrs. Tenney was a Mail Carrier.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 7 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In honoring Mrs. Tenney’s wishes she will be cremated following the funeral service.
