TENNERTON – Following two weeks of rainouts, the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League was back in action on Wednesday, and the standings were shaken up after week eight action.
Custom Cabinets made the leap from third place to first place with a 25-15 win over Lisa Cain Edward Jones and now have 66 ½ total points.
Feola’s Flowers remained in second place after a 20-20 tie with Highland Landscaping with 64 ½ points.
Sam’s Pizza moved up one spot from fourth to third place after a 22 ½-17 ½ victory over First Community Bank. They currently have 63 ½ points.
Last week’s leader, Hank Ellis Insurance dropped from first place to fourth place after a 25 ½-14 ½ setback to High Point Construction. Hank Ellis Insurance sits with 63 points.
Stephen Jeran of High Point Construction won Low Actual honors with a 35 while Kyle Lane of Highland Landscaping and John Egress of First Community Bank claimed Low Net honors with identical 30s.
