City to collect two weeks of waste for missed customers due to weather

In its Friday winter weather services update, the City of Buckhannon noted that the bulky goods collection has been postponed by one week to next Friday.

If any waste customers were missed this week, either in the city or the county, the department will collect two weeks of trash next week, weather permitting.

The street department continues to remove excess snow from the city. They ask for your patience as they move large equipment from area to area to achieve this feat.

All other city departments, including City Hall and the Transfer Station, are operating normally.
