Beverly Lou Posey, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, September 18, 2025, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.
She was born December 7, 1959, in Baltimore City, MD, a daughter of the late Franklin and Helen Coberly Ancell.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Posey; two daughters, Kayle Posey of Buckhannon and Uteva Chesser and husband Tanner of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Aiyana Chesser, Salali Chesser (and companion Alek Denton) and Riley Chesser all of Chattanooga; great-grandchild, Octavia Chesser of Chattanooga; and one brother, John Ancell of Buckhannon.
Beverly loved spending time at the lake fishing with her husband. When not at the lake, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, swinging on the front porch with her coffee, and was a fan of playing video games and putting together jigsaw puzzles. She always looked for the opportunity to make everyone around her have a good laugh.
In honoring Mrs. Posey’s wishes, she will be cremated.
