Baseball ‘Cats drop two at home to Frostburg State

BUCKHANNON — The West Virginia Wesleyan-Frostburg State battled in a doubleheader Saturday and game one began with some early back-and-forth action. Frostburg State took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, thanks to a two-run, unearned homer by Doyle McNew, scoring Mikey Guy. West Virginia Wesleyan responded in the bottom half of the frame, as Thatcher Poteat doubled home Ethan Fraley to make it 2-1.
