Apply now: Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating B-UHS seniors

The S.E.T.H. Project is happy to announce that we are currently accepting applications for the annual $1,000 scholarship award.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – For the second year in a row, The S.E.T.H. Project has announced that it will be accepting applications for its annual scholarship award. New this year – The S.E.T.H. Project will award two graduating seniors a $1,000 scholarship. Applications are now being accepted and will close May 1, 2023. The recipients will be notified prior to the High School Awards Night on May 24, 2023, where the checks will be presented.

To qualify, the graduating Buckhannon-Upshur High School senior must be pursuing higher education in a S.T.E.M.-related field, provide their resume, proof of a minimum 3.5 GPA and submit a short essay on how their future career could impact developments in ALS research, or improve the lives of those living with ALS.
