She was born in Norristown, PA, on November 17, 1958, a daughter of the late Vincent Rudolph Novi and Janet Beecher Novi. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Gallinger.

On April 15, 2004, Anita married the love of her life, Brian Andrew Stitt. Together they shared the joys of marriage for 17 wonderful years and he will miss her dearly.

Anita is survived by her husband, Brian Stitt of Pickens; one step-son, Tyler Stitt of Pennsylvania; one step-grandchild, Jaxson Stitt; one brother, Anthony Novi and wife, Julianne, of Pennsylvania; two nieces: Nicole Novi and Hollyanne Oesterle; one great-niece, Domiana Drear; two brothers-in-law: Jim Stitt and wife, Mary, and Tracey Stitt; one sister-in-law, Sharon Stitt; and father-in-law Henry Butko of Pennsylvania.

Anita was born and raised in the Catholic Church and attended both church services and the school at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Norristown, PA. She was a current member of Pickens Baptist Church and Farm Women’s Club where she helped prepare meals for the community of Pickens. Anita was very talented and often created one-of-a-kind crocheted items. She also had a green thumb and was at peace while working with her cactus and aloe plants as well as her roses and hostas. Anita and Brian loved their property in the Wild and Wonderful West Virginia where they could enjoy watching the hummingbirds, riding 4-wheelers, and caring for all their animals. She also enjoyed reading and listening to Indian music. Anita’s strong and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her.
