Lisa Cain Edward Jones stays in first place in week two of fourth quarter in men’s golf

TENNERTON –Lisa Cain Edward Jones kept their first-place status in week two of the fourth quarter of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial League but saw their lead shrink.

They remained in first place with 46 ½ points after beating First Community Bank by a 22-18 score.

Their 1 ½ point lead shrunk to just ½ point this week after Sealcoat Concepts jumped from fourth place to second place with 46 points after a huge 25-15 victory over Feola’s Flowers.

Hank Ellis Insurance remained in third place with 44 points after a 22-18 win over Custom Cabinets. Custom Cabinets stayed in fifth place with 38 ½ points.

Landing in fourth place was Highland Landscaping with 41 ½ points. They moved up three spots after downing Baker Tilly by a 22 ½-17 ½ score.

In the other match of the week, High Point Construction defeated Sam’s Pizza by a 23 ½-16 ½ count.

Doug Garrett of Hank Ellis Insurance won Low Actual and Low Net honors this week carding a 36 for Low Actual and a 32 for Low Net.
